In the Spring of 2019, ClujShorts is coming back for its 7th Edition and it’s welcoming directors and film lovers from all around the world. With a full week of screenings and events, including Q&As, workshops and networking receptions, ClujShorts will bring a more youthful and vibrant vibe to the city’s well established cinematographic scene.

Excerpt from RULES AND REGULATIONS

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS for ClujShorts 2019

  • Films must have been completed after JANUARY 1, 2017 for entering the competition
  • All non-English films must have English subtitles.
  • All films must be submitted via online screener.
  • Works-in-progress will be considered, provided they will be completed prior to the festival.
  • Please do NOT send stills or press kits.  If your film is selected, we will ask you to email us a still image at that time.
  • You may enter more than one film, but you must complete a separate entry form and pay entry fee for each film.
  • Films previously submitted to ClujShorts International Short Film Festival are NOT eligible.
  • Running time should be under 20 minutes for entering the competition. Longer short films are accepted as part of the official selection, but not longer than 35 minutes

  •   Standard fee: 10 Euro/entry

SELECTION

  • Film selection for the Festival will be made by our screening committee.
  • All filmmakers will be notified via email of acceptance.
