Why ClujShorts?

Even though Cluj-Napoca is an important national and international cultural centre, it lacked an exclusively short film festival.

The short has been previously regarded as a “little brother” of the feature film. In this regard, ClujShorts is a manifesto for the short film. The lay public needs to know they are not only dealing with films of a reduced length. Directors have to know that they are appreciated for their true value.
